Software Changes for Multi-Currency Support
Support Currency Exchange and Balance Enquiry Only
The terminal will offer a currency exchange transaction type for each foreign currency type
supported. This software version will only support currency exchange and balance
enquiry transactions. The following transactions will not be available:
• Cash withdrawal
• Transfer of funds
• Mobile Phone Topup
• PIN Services
• Mini Statement
• Free Balance Enquiry
Note: For this release, only Euro and US Dollars will be available for currency exchange
transactions.
The transaction selection screen presented to the user will display the balance enquiry option
plus up to 2 currency dispense options. The text displayed for each button on the right will be
based on the currency type selection in management functions, and the order of the buttons will
be the currency type for cassettes A-D (from top to bottom).
The location of this screen in the screen flow will be the same as the current select transaction
screen for both EMV and magstripe transactions.
